PLEASE SLOW DOWN |
|
Most schools are now in session. Please be watchful of
children walking along roadways and crossing streets on their
way to and from our schools. Always assume that a child could
dart in front of you at any moment.
The speed limit on most our streets is 25 MPH unless
otherwise marked. The speed limit in a school zone is 20 MPH.
Right turn on red is prohibited at certain intersections
during school hours.

Garden Club Needs Your Help |
|
The College Hill Gardeners have done a great job in their
streetscape project and with the island at Belmont and North
Bend. However these projects require continual weeding,
planting and general maintenance. They need your help.
The Gardeners meet at the traffic island at Belmont and W.
North Bend on the first Saturday of the month from 9am until
noon to weed, plant, mulch or perform other maintenance.
Please bring your tools and join them. Call Kevin Corcoran for
more information at 681-4175.

College Hill Congratulates <Your Name Here>
|
|
<Your Name Here> has made College Hill a much better
place to live through <His/Her> volunteer contributions to
this community. <Your Name Here> is to be congratulated for
donating <Your Time Here> hours of unselfish devotion to
<His/Her> neighbors and is hereby awarded The College Hill
Certificate of Good Citizenship.
Would you like to be a good citizen? Well, you don't always
get your name in print or you might not be awarded a
certificate of good citizenship but you don't need a
certificate to be a good citizen. How much time does it take?
Very little. How do you do this? Just attend the next Forum
meeting September 20, 7pm at the College Hill Recreation
Center or contact one of the many volunteer organizations in
College Hill.
